WLC Nordstorm Shoe Show - June 8, 2011

Women's Leadership Council Networking Event was held at the Palace Theatre.  Nordstrom's was invited in to showcase some of their beautiful shoes - Valentino's, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, etc.  Photographs of Morocco taken by Autumn DeLellis of Skysight Photography decorated the event and were a beautiful backdrop for the shoes.  The food was fabulous, the shoes were exquisite and the event was well-attended.  A wonderful time was had by all.

On October 26, 2006, the Women's Leadership Council (WLC) of United Way of Westmoreland County launched its organization with a breakfast for "Women of Influence." Since then, the membership has grown to over 100 women who now meet quarterly to help expand the Council and offer a greater impact to the senior citizens in our community today. This group has selected supporting seniors as their main focus for lasting change in Westmoreland County and surrounding areas. Members of the Women's Leadership Council contribute $1,000 or more, annually, to support United Way's efforts to help seniors supported by Faith in Action.
